We're looking for a Manufacturing, Lifting and Inspection Technician to join our Henderson workshop. If you're someone who enjoys hands-on work, likes working in a supportive team and believes in doing the job properly the first time, we'd like to hear from you.
About the roleThis is a practical workshop-based role where you'll manufacture, inspect, test and repair lifting and rigging equipment. You'll also complete inspections, maintain accurate records and occasionally work at customer sites.
What you'll do· Manufacture, maintain, assemble, inspect, test and repair steel wire rope and other lifting equipment.
· Assemble, inspect, maintain, service, hoisting and rigging equipment.
· Maintain records and certification on ERP software.
· Carry out manufacturing, testing and certification procedures in accordance with Australian Standards.
· Safely operate workshop tools and testing equipment.
· Work closely with your team to meet customer needs.
· Provide friendly, professional service.
· Follow safety and quality procedures every day.
What you'll bring· Experience in a manufacturing, mechanical, industrial or similar environment.
· Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools.
· Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· A positive team-first attitude.
· Current Driver's Licence and basic computer skills.
· Commitment to working safely.
Experience working with lifting and rigging equipment, a Forklift Licence, a High Risk Work Licence, or a First Aid Certificate will be well regarded.
