Owner Drivers / Owner Operators - 10 to 12 pallet Pantech with Tailgate only

PFM Logistics is a national leader in sensitive freight and logistics, specialising in the delivery and installation of high-value equipment including medical devices, ATMs, refrigeration and print equipment.

Due to continued growth and increased demand, we are seeking professional Owner Drivers / Owner Operators that have 10 to 12 pallet Pantech with Tailgate Trucks only, to partner with us in Edmonton, Cairns Qld.

About the Opportunity

This is not standard “pick-up and drop-off” work. We are a white glove service. Our teams deliver, install, and handle sensitive freight requiring care, professionalism and attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For

·         MR/HR truck (pantech with tailgate)

·         Modern, well-maintained Fleet

·         Minimum 5 years driving experience

·         Experience in sensitive freight (highly regarded)

·         Strong customer service and communication skills

·         Ability to complete paperwork and use PDA systems

·         Professional presentation and attitude

·         Clean driving history (driver printout required)

·         Ability to work safely and take ownership of freight and client interactions

·         ABN and relevant insurances (or willingness to obtain)

Important

·         Must hold valid licence and operate compliant vehicle

·         Must be willing to follow PFM safety and the following compliance standards:

§  Speed limiters fitted in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications and compliant with applicable Australian Design Rules (ADR)

§  Sufficient rear and side lighting fitted to all vehicle bodies and/or trailers to ensure safe operation and visibility

§  Adequate in-cabin lighting to enable safe operation and completion of required tasks

§  Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) fitted to all newly purchased fleet vehicles

§  Headrests fitted to all seating positions

§  Door and/or handbrake alarm or alert system installed and operational

§  Aqua Scales (for vehicles = to or above 12 pallets) fitted and maintained in working order

§  Vehicles must meet a minimum Euro 5 emissions standard (or higher where applicable)

§  Tailgate Safety Gates
