SIPS are coming to Sippy Down - Sunshine Coast QLD and we’re expanding our Café Chef team as part of the opening of our new venue.
We are a serious brunch kitchen with Mediterranean roots - bringing Mediterranean flavours and techniques together with modern Australian brunch culture.We care deeply about food that is honest, seasonal and executed with precision, while creating a kitchen environment that is respectful, organised and supportive.
At SIPS, we believe brunch is not “casual cooking”. It is restaurant-standard service where technique, timing, consistency and attention to detail matter on every plate and throughout every service.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for Café Chefs to become part of our opening team.
We welcome applications from chefs developing their careers as well as experienced professionals ready to take greater responsibility within the kitchen. Responsibilities and remuneration will be determined according to experience, skills and demonstrated capability.
We have several opportunities available within our Café Chef team as we build the opening kitchen crew for our new Sippy Downs venue.

Experience with Mediterranean cuisine, modern Australian brunch or high-volume breakfast service is highly valued.
For experienced candidates, demonstrated leadership, food-safety knowledge, section management and the ability to maintain standards during busy service will be highly regarded.
For developing chefs, attitude, reliability, curiosity and a genuine desire to learn are just as important to us as experience.
