JET Charge is looking for a high-energy, commercially driven automotive salesperson to grow our business across car manufacturers, dealer groups and dealerships.

This is a genuine sales role. We’re looking for someone who loves building relationships, creating opportunities, opening doors and closing deals.

You might currently be selling for an OEM, dealer group, automotive supplier, technology business, fleet provider or another part of the automotive ecosystem. You don’t need to be an EV charging expert — we want your automotive knowledge, sales capability and network.

The role exists to build pipeline, convert opportunities and drive profitable growth across JET Charge’s automotive segment.

The Role

You’ll be one of JET Charge’s key commercial faces in the automotive industry, developing new business and growing relationships across OEMs, dealer groups, dealerships and other strategic automotive customers.

You’ll own opportunities from the first conversation through to proposal, negotiation and close.

And importantly, this isn’t an account management role where the pipeline is handed to you.

We want someone who will actively create opportunities, get in front of decision-makers and build a strong pipeline rather than relying on inbound leads. That proactive pipeline development is a core expectation of the role.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Hunt for new business and create opportunities across the automotive market.
• Build strong relationships with OEMs, dealer groups, dealerships and key industry decision-makers. Own the sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to commercial negotiation and close. Deliver revenue and gross margin targets while maintaining strong commercial discipline. Grow existing customers through repeat business, expansion and new opportunities.
• Maintain a healthy, qualified pipeline and know exactly where your deals stand. Bring strong forecasting and CRM discipline to the way you sell. Understand what customers are doing, where the market is heading and what competitors are offering.
• Work closely with JET Charge’s Product, Marketing, Delivery and Operations teams to turn customer opportunities into successful outcomes.

The role is ultimately accountable for profitable revenue growth, pipeline development, win rate, deal quality and growing long-term automotive customer relationships.

About You

• Proven sales or business development experience within the automotive industry
• Strong understanding of the automotive landscape, including OEMs, dealer groups, dealerships, fleet or automotive suppliers
• A genuine hunter mentality — you’re comfortable prospecting, opening doors and creating opportunities
• Demonstrated ability to build pipeline and convert opportunities into revenue
• Commercially sharp, confident in negotiation and comfortable asking for the business
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage senior decision-makers
• Persistent, proactive and motivated by targets and winning
• An established automotive industry network would be highly regarded
• Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of your sales pipeline
• Strong CRM and forecasting discipline

EV Charging Experience?

Not required.

• We’re looking for automotive sales capability first
• EV charging knowledge can be learned
• You’ll need the curiosity and commercial aptitude to quickly understand the EV charging market
• You’ll be able to translate technical solutions into a clear commercial proposition for automotive customers
• Experience selling technical, infrastructure or solution-based products would be advantageous, but isn’t essential
