Qualifications & experience

• Must hold a forklift license

• Previous Warehouse, Inventory and customer service experience preferred

• A reliable person that is available to work, Monday to Friday, within the store hours 8am - 4pm

• Able to do 38 hours each week

• Must have reliable transport to and from work.

• Attention to detail in all areas of the role is essential.

• Applicant requires good computer skills and be a quick learner

• Ability to enjoy and handle a fast-paced environment

• Lifting is required so need to be fit and able for the role.

• Great customer service skills and enjoy communicating with customers.

• Able to work unsupervised.

• Helpful, keen team player

• Personal presentation & hygiene is required at a high standard as you will be assisting customers

• Cheerful and happy nature is necessary as the job role involves counter service and sales

• Training provided

• Learn to operate the embroidery machine.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Involved in the everyday operations of the warehouse and keeping warehouse well maintained and tidy

• Unloading and loading of delivery vehicles by hand or forklift

• Unpacking stock and storing stock in warehouse

• Stock control – inwards/outwards, regular stocktakes

• Quoting, Processing Customer Orders, raising Purchase orders, Receipting of goods in, processing and despatching orders to customers 

• Picking and checking orders

• Organise order pickup/delivery with freight providers 

• Assisting customers face to face in store with product enquiries and order collection.

• Communicate with customers in person, phone or email to provide them with the products and services they require.

• May be involved in the embroidery department, , picking clothing orders, operating the machines and packing orders.
