Pius X Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a professional, culturally respectful Medical Receptionist to join our busy health clinic in Moree. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is committed to supporting high‑quality healthcare for Aboriginal families and community members.
As the Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients attending the Pius X clinic. You will provide welcoming, culturally safe reception services and support. Your work ensures smooth daily operations and positive client experiences.
Provide front desk reception and greet clients in a culturally respectful manner
Manage appointments, recalls, follow‑ups, and daily scheduling
Answer phones, manage enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming reception and waiting area
Uphold confidentiality, privacy, and professional boundaries
Participate in team meetings, training, and quality improvement activities
Warm, welcoming, and culturally respectful personality
Clear, professional communication with clients, families, and staff
Accurate record‑keeping and documentation
Calm, steady, and reliable under pressure and during busy periods
Respectful engagement with Aboriginal clients, families, and community
Team‑focused, organised, and committed to confidentiality and good judgement
Supportive, values‑driven team environment
