Junior sous chef / experience CDP

About the role

As Junior Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to help lead the kitchen team, maintain high standards, and contribute to menu development. This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their career and build the foundations for future leadership opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the kitchen

• Leading service and assisting with team management when required

• Helping develop and execute seasonal menu changes

• Training and motivating junior team members

• Maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and cleanliness

• Working collaboratively with the wider management team to drive the business forward

About you

• A passionate chef with experience at Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef level

• A genuine interest in seasonal cooking and quality ingredients

• Someone who takes pride in consistency, presentation, and attention to detail

• A positive team player who enjoys mentoring and supporting others

• Ambition to develop into a senior leadership role within a growing business

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to perform under pressure

• A commitment to maintaining excellent food safety and kitchen standards
