About the role
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our progressive cropping enterprise.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for modern broadacre farming. The successful applicant will play a key role in planning, managing, and improving all aspects of crop production while leading a small team and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
About us
Growth Farms Australia is a progressive, performance-focused farming business responsible for managing the ‘Mulyandry’ aggregation, a large-scale cropping operation of approximately 4,583 ha near Forbes and Grenfell in Central West NSW.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Manage all cropping operations from planning through to harvest.
Operate and maintain modern agricultural machinery and equipment.
Supervise, support and co-ordination of farm staff and contractors.
Monitor crop health, pest and weed control.
Coordinate seeding, spraying, fertilising, and harvesting programs.
Maintain accurate farm records and assist with budgeting and reporting.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
Contribute to ongoing improvements in productivity and sustainability.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience managing a cropping operation with a focus on canola and wheat.
Strong machinery operation and maintenance skills.
Knowledge of crop agronomy and modern farming practices.
Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership abilities.
Current driver's licence (HR or MC licence an advantage).
Chemical accreditation and relevant agricultural qualifications are desirable.
