Legal Admin & Support – Northern Beaches

We are a boutique intellectual property firm based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, acting for Australian and international clients across patents, trade marks, designs and copyright. We offer a professional but down‑to‑earth working environment and are seeking an Admin Assistant to support our lawyers and IP attorneys.

This role is suited to someone with some prior legal or professional services experience who is looking to build their skills in a stable, long‑term position outside the CBD.

The Role 

You will support our lawyers and IP attorneys with: 

• File and matter administration

• Preparing and amending correspondence and documents 

• Diary and inbox support 

• Patent and trade mark filings and related support 

• Liaising with clients and external stakeholders 

• Assisting with billing and general file administration 

• General administrative support as required 

About You 

• 1–3 years’ experience as a legal secretary, legal assistant, admin support or similar 

• Strong organisation and attention to detail 

• Reliable, proactive approach 

• Good written and verbal communication skills 

• Professional client manner 

• Solid MS Word and general office skills 

IP or legal experience preferred but not essential.
