About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to join our team at Rights in Action in Townsville, Queensland. This full-time role will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our organisation.
What you'll be doing
Handling a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, document management, and record-keeping
Providing reception and customer service duties, including answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and responding to general inquiries
Assisting with the coordination of meetings, events, and travel arrangements
Providing support to the management team as required
Contributing to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures
What we're looking for
Proven experience as an Administration Officer or in a similar administrative role
Minimum 1-2 years of administration or office support experience
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, database management, email systems, and CRM systems
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
A team player with a positive and proactive attitude
Manage meeting minutes, agendas and secure storage of records
Maintain office presentation, supplies and stationery
Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred but not required
