Marketing & Content Assistant (Paid) — Entry Level Welcome

ReelChess is one of Australia's fastest growing chess education brands: programs in schools across Western Sydney, weekend training, tournaments, an online academy, and a content engine with over 10 million organic views. We're hiring a paid Marketing & Content Assistant, and we care far more about attitude and instincts than your resume.

What you'll do

You'll be at our school lessons, weekend classes and tournaments, helping sessions run smoothly and capturing the moments that make our brand: kids cracking puzzles, tournament wins, trophy presentations, a full room locked into the board. Your captures feed our Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and you'll watch the numbers they pull. You'll work directly with the founder, learn content strategy, social media marketing and community engagement from the inside, and if you can edit, there's extra paid work turning footage into reels. If you can't edit yet, we'll teach you as you go.

Who this suits

Students, recent grads, career changers, parents returning to work, or anyone building a portfolio from scratch. This is a genuine entry-level opportunity: no marketing degree, no chess knowledge, no professional experience required. What we do need is non-negotiable: you're reliable, because lessons run on a fixed schedule and the best moments only happen once. You're warm and confident around primary-aged kids. You've got a good eye with a phone camera, since instincts beat gear every time. You're in or near Western Sydney and can get to lesson locations, car a big plus. And you'll hold a valid NSW Working With Children Check for paid work before your first session, which is quick to get and we'll point you to the application.
