About the role
UCS was founded over 30 years ago in regional Bendigo, Victoria. Throughout its’ history, UCS has been the Victorian market leader in delivering electrical utility services to the greenfield land development sector. Around 10 years ago, UCS made a strategic decision to diversify its business into new service lines and new geographies, including a recent acquisition in the Albury area (GPE). Today, UCS delivers services to customers in Victoria, NSW, SA and QLD across industry segments including infrastructure, URD greenfields, LLCs, road safety equipment, overhead services, LV power and lighting, HV maintenance and retail power.

The HSEQ & Management Systems Business Partner will form a key part of our People, Culture and Safety Team, providing geographic HSEQ support to northern Victoria and Southern NSW across multiple business lines. The position will be office-based, with requirements to perform on-site field safety observations, support, investigations, audits and mentoring for our trade professionals. The role will manage ISO systems within the group, including the development, auditing, and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring all UCS group health, safety, and environment policies are up to date and compliant with relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines.

Selection Criteria
Candidates will need to have extensive safety and systems experience, ideally with knowledge and experience within the electrical, utility or construction sector. Successful candidates will be highly organised, with outstanding organisational, time management and customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is also a must.
