Barr Planning a Division of Beveridge Williams is a privately owned multi-disciplinary development and infrastructure consultancy renowned for its expertise in surveying, civil engineering, traffic & transport engineering, town planning, urban design, environmental engineering and landscape architecture. We have a passionate team of 39 town planners in Victoria, NSW and QLD with broad capabilities and experience. The Position:We are looking for an Associate Principal Planner who is responsible for:Managing and delivering a range of State and regionally significant projects on time and on budget.Acting as Project Lead to liaise with clients and maintain communication between staff and clients.Developing fee proposals for new projects and managing internal workflows, invoices and reporting.Contributing to the development and maintenance of our QA system and support business development, with a focus on targeted sectors.
Skills & Experience:We are looking for an experienced planner, who meets the following criteria:Has a planning degree which is accredited by PIA and more than 10 years’ relevant experience.Hold or be working towards Registered Planner status with PIA.Have a strong technical knowledge of the NSW planning legislation and processes, with skills in environmental impact assessment or social impact assessment.Possess project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage a project within agreed time frames, budgets and quality goal.Possess excellent verbal, visual and written communication skills with demonstrated team leadership capability.
