Working at an advanced clinical level, you will partner with state secondary schools to strengthen their capacity to create supportive, healthy, and inclusive environments that promote positive health outcomes for young people. You will provide a limited primary health care service to secondary school-aged students, offering assessment, advice, early intervention, and appropriate referrals as required.About us:
The Community Child, Youth and Family Health (CYFH) team provides culturally appropriate universal and targeted services to families within the Cairns urban area. These services are delivered in partnership by a multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, social workers, psychologists, speech pathologist, indigenous health workers and administration officers. Programs include maternal and infant health, child health, youth health and parental support.
