BlueFit is proud to be commencing an exciting new partnership with the City of Wanneroo to manage the new Alkimos Aquatic and Recreation Centre (AARC), one of the largest capital works projects ever delivered by the City.

Together, we're embarking on a new chapter to bring this landmark community facility to life as a welcoming, inclusive and vibrant destination where people of all ages and abilities can be active, healthy and connected

At the heart of this partnership is a shared commitment to creating a thriving community hub that enhances health, connection and liveability across Alkimos and the surrounding northern corridor. Through aquatics, learn-to-swim, health and fitness, indoor sports and community recreation, the Centre will create opportunities for everyone to participate, belong and thrive.

As part of our foundation team, you'll have the unique opportunity to help establish the Centre's culture, programs and customer experience from day one, guided by BlueFit's proven operating systems and commitment to excellence.

What the Role is Really About

As our Stadium Manager, you are the champion of our indoor sports community. Working hand-in-hand with the leadership team, you’ll oversee club relationships, court bookings, social sport competitions (basketball, netball, volleyball, and more), major event hosting, and casual stadium use to maximise facility participation.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Pre-Opening Launch: Set up indoor sports competitions, establish court booking systems, coordinate equipment procurement

• Court Leadership: Lead from the front by being present on the stadium floor during peak competition nights and weekend events, supporting officials, and ensuring a safe, sporting environment.

• Competition & Program Management: Develop, market, and coordinate junior and adult sports leagues, casual shooting programs, school holiday camps, and community sports events.

• Commercial & Growth Mindset: Maximise court utilisation, manage stadium competition fees, track key participation KPIs, and build strong partnerships with local sporting clubs and associations.

• Safety & Facility Care: Ensure multi-purpose courts, sporting equipment, and stadium infrastructure are maintained to the highest safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• Hands-On Leadership: You’re an active, visible leader who spends time courtside engaging with players, referees, and sporting clubs rather than staying behind a closed office door.

• Sports & Stadium Expertise: Proven background in indoor sports management, competition administration, court programming, or recreation venue operations.

• Community Focus: Genuine passion for grassroots sport, healthy competition, and bringing local teams together in a welcoming space.

• Organisational Acumen: Strong skills in competition management software, court rostering, fixture planning, and dispute resolution.

• Essential Requirements:

  • Senior First Aid & CPR Certifications

  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)

  • Sports management, recreation, or officiating qualifications (highly regarded)
