Part-Time Accountant / Bookkeeper

Meadan Homes is a residential building company dedicated to delivering quality homes and a great experience for our clients. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced part-time Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team and help keep our finances running smoothly.

The Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper to work with us on a part-time basis (2–3 days per week, days flexible for the right candidate). You'll be responsible for the day-to-day financial administration of the business, working closely with our team to ensure our books, compliance obligations, and reporting are accurate and up to date.

Experience Required

• Processing payroll

• Reconciling accounts

• Preparing and lodging Taxable Payments Annual Reports (TPAR)

• Superannuation lodgments

• GST preparation and BAS lodgment

What We're Looking For

• Proven bookkeeping/accounting experience, ideally within the building or construction industry

• Strong working knowledge of Xero (or similar accounting software)

• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines

• Excellent communication skills
