ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a WHS Coordinator to support the WHSE team and management of the Australia group of businesses in the MSS Group.

As our WHS Coordinator, you'll play a key role in fostering a positive safety culture by partnering with stakeholders across the business and driving WHS initiatives.

You'll support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Work Health & Safety Management System while providing expert advice on health, safety, environmental, and quality matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of WHSEQ policies, procedures, and management systems.

• Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on WHSEQ legislation, compliance, and best practices.

• Coordinate WHSEQ documentation, reporting systems, audits, and site compliance requirements.

• Assist with incident investigations, risk management, and the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.

• Promote a positive safety culture by supporting health and safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in a WHSEQ, WHS Coordinator, or similar role.

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent) and a White Card.

• Sound knowledge of Australian/New Zealand WHSEQ legislation and construction safety standards.

• Experience with incident investigations, risk management, and hazard identification.

• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and report writing skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

Must have valid work rights in Australia, and the ability to obtain a police clearance.
