ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a WHS Coordinator to support the WHSE team and management of the Australia group of businesses in the MSS Group.
As our WHS Coordinator, you'll play a key role in fostering a positive safety culture by partnering with stakeholders across the business and driving WHS initiatives.
You'll support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Work Health & Safety Management System while providing expert advice on health, safety, environmental, and quality matters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of WHSEQ policies, procedures, and management systems.
Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on WHSEQ legislation, compliance, and best practices.
Coordinate WHSEQ documentation, reporting systems, audits, and site compliance requirements.
Assist with incident investigations, risk management, and the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
Promote a positive safety culture by supporting health and safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in a WHSEQ, WHS Coordinator, or similar role.
Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent) and a White Card.
Sound knowledge of Australian/New Zealand WHSEQ legislation and construction safety standards.
Experience with incident investigations, risk management, and hazard identification.
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and report writing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Must have valid work rights in Australia, and the ability to obtain a police clearance.
