We're looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our growing Queensland team. If you're motivated, enjoy working on heavy machinery, and have strong customer service and sales skills, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

This is a field-based position servicing, repairing and maintaining heavy machinery across Queensland and occasionally interstate. You'll work independently while building strong relationships with customers and identifying opportunities to provide solutions that add value.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair diesel-powered heavy machinery and equipment

• Carry out scheduled maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs

• Provide exceptional customer service on-site

• Identify sales opportunities for parts, services and equipment upgrades

• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate job records

• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard

About You

To be successful, you'll have:

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic or equivalent

• Proven experience working on heavy machinery (construction, mining, agriculture or similar)

• Previous sales or account management experience, with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Current manual driver's licence

• Ability to travel when required
