This role is ideal for individuals passionate about threat detection, security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and protecting organizational systems and data.🎯 Key Responsibilities• Monitor security alerts, logs, networks, endpoints, and systems for potential threats.• Investigate suspicious activities, security events, and potential incidents.• Assist with incident response, containment, investigation, and recovery activities.• Analyze security logs and alerts from SIEM, EDR, firewall, and endpoint security platforms.• Identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and potential security weaknesses.• Assist with vulnerability assessments, security testing, and remediation activities.• Monitor endpoint, network, cloud, and application security controls.• Support threat intelligence activities and research emerging cybersecurity threats.• Assist with phishing investigations, malware analysis, and suspicious email investigations.• Maintain security documentation, incident reports, investigation records, and procedures.• Support access control, identity management, authentication, and security policy enforcement.• Assist with security audits, compliance assessments, and risk management activities.• Conduct security awareness activities and provide basic cybersecurity guidance to employees.• Collaborate with IT Support, Network Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Developers, and Compliance teams.• Participate in security improvement projects and help strengthen organizational security controls.• Stay updated on new vulnerabilities, attack techniques, security technologies, and industry best practices.✅ Requirements• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.• Experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, IT security, network security, or system administration is an advantage.• Fresh graduates with relevant internships, certifications, labs, or cybersecurity projects are encouraged to apply.• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, vulnerabilities, and security controls.• Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, VPN, firewalls, and network protocols.• Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.• Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, or security monitoring tools is an advantage.• Basic knowledge of authentication, access control, encryption, endpoint security, and network security.• Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, CrowdStrike, Defender, Wireshark, Nessus, or similar platforms is a plus.• Basic scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages is an advantage.• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.• Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze large amounts of security information.• Ability to respond calmly and effectively to security incidents.• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.• CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, SSCP, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications are an advantage.🌟 What We Offer• Hands-on experience monitoring and protecting real-world IT environments.• Exposure to SOC operations, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.• Structured training and mentorship from experienced cybersecurity professionals.• Opportunities to work with modern security tools, SIEM, EDR, cloud security, and network security technologies.• Career progression into Senior Cyber Security Analyst, SOC Analyst, Security Engineer, Incident Response Analyst, Threat Intelligence Analyst, or Cyber Security Consultant roles.• Opportunities to pursue professional cybersecurity certifications.• Collaborative and security-focused working environment.• Continuous learning and professional development opportunities.• Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives.
