About Us
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is an exceptional environment to advance your career while enhancing your skills and expertise. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we deliver a comprehensive range of public health services across the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Regions.
Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.
Are you a skilled Biomedical Electronics Technician seeking a dynamic opportunity to apply your expertise within a leading healthcare environment? Nepean Hospital is currently inviting applications to join its District Total Asset Management Team, where your technical proficiency will contribute directly to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development, configuration, assembly, and restoration of electronic, electrical, and electromechanical medical equipment, ensuring all work aligns with recommended practices and Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) guidelines. You will perform equipment repairs and preventative maintenance in accordance with AS/NZ Standards, working independently across a diverse range of medical devices.
Additionally, you will provide responsive technical support to clinical staff, ensuring safe and effective use of biomedical instrumentation. This is a rewarding opportunity for a technician who values precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement in a healthcare setting.
If you're ready to take the next step in your biomedical career and contribute to a team that values technical excellence and patient safety, we encourage you to apply. Join Nepean Hospital and be part of a supportive, forward-thinking environment where your skills make a meaningful impact every day.
