The clinic in Wantirna, VIC serves a diverse client base with a strong emphasis on integrity and compassionate service.Role Description This is a contract, on-site Physiotherapist role based in Wantirna, VIC. The Physiotherapist will assess clients’ physical function, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy and exercise programs to address mobility, pain, and functional goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, documenting clinical notes, monitoring progress, and adjusting interventions as needed. The role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals, educating clients and caregivers on self-management strategies, and ensuring all interventions align with current clinical guidelines. The Physiotherapist will also contribute to maintaining a safe treatment environment, participate in case discussions, and support quality improvement initiatives.Qualifications Recognized qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the appropriate professional board/authority.Demonstrated experience in conducting physical assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and manage caseloads efficiently while adhering to professional and ethical standards.Commitment to person-centered care, cultural safety, and non-discriminatory practices in all client interactions.Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and remain current with physiotherapy best practices.Experience in community, outpatient, or rehabilitation settings is beneficial, as is familiarity with working with diverse age groups and conditions.
