Educational Leader

Inspira Kids is an established Early Learning Centre with multiple centres across Victoria. Inspira Kids provides an environment where children feel safe, nurtured, stimulated and happy. 

Inspira Kids is expanding their team and are looking for a passionate and friendly Diploma Qualified Educational Leader to join their Gladstone Park centre in a Permanent Part Time capacity. 

This role is 5 days per week, with consistent hours and an immediate start may be available.

The Role

As an Educational Leader, you will play a key role in mentoring educators and driving high quality educational practices throughout the centre.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs through your strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

• Creating positive, professional and genuine relationships with team members, children and their families

• Conducting daily written observations on individual children and groups of children

• Guiding and leading fellow educators to develop and implement inspirational educational programs that assist children to achieve learning outcomes

• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of programs and amending them, as required

• Ensuring the Centre's policies, procedures and health and safety requirements are adhered to by each member of the staff

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Diploma in Children's Services or an ACECQA-approved equivalent (required)

• 2 years experience in an educator role

• A current First Aid Certificate (including CPR & Asthma Anaphylaxis Training)

• A current Working with Children's Check

• A strong understanding of the National Quality Standards, Government Regulations and the Early Years Learning Framework

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A genuine passion for mentoring educators and supporting children's learning and development

• A positive, reliable and collaborative approach to working within a team
