The Job.As an APFS, you will conduct structured ESM audits across a broad range of client’s properties to assess compliance with Essential Safety Measures (ESM). You’ll play a key role in ensuring our clients meet regulatory requirements, including Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) while receiving clear, professional guidance.Key responsibilities include:Conducting Essential Safety Measures (ESM) audits, inspections, and surveysCoordinating and attending System Interface Tests, including defect identification and reportingAssisting clients complete Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFFS)Producing accurate, high-quality compliance reportsManaging and attending client meetingsInterviewing building managers to gather relevant property informationProviding client briefings and maintaining clear communication throughout each engagementReviewing and critiquing reports prepared by other auditorsAccurately recording job times and operational data
The CandidateYou are a confident, self-motivated professional who enjoys autonomy but values being part of a close-knit, experienced team.You will bring:Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar roleBackground or qualifications in fire systems, mechanical systems, or passive fireExperience in account management, team management, or coordinationAPFS accreditation- ideally you will be a fully accredited FPAS auditorStrong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skillsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation abilitiesStrong time management and planning skillsAbility to work independently while contributing positively to team culture
