Medical Receptionist- Radiology

A friendly and enthusiastic medical receptionist is required for our expanding Waratah practice. This is a rare and sought after opportunity for a desirable medical reception role, only reliable and committed candidates should apply.

Responsibilities:

• Patient service and medical reception

• Scheduling of appointments in Radiology Information System

• Support practice doctors and clinical staff in providing efficient delivery of quality services

• Liaising with referring doctors and medical practice staff

• Providing information and preparing patients for their procedure

• Patient invoicing and receipting including Medicare, DVA, private accounts and workers compensation

• Contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the reception

• Additional administrative duties as directed by management

Your skills and experience:

• Customer service experience and well-developed people skills

• Excellent communication face-to-face and over the phone

• Reliable, motivated and well presented to work with the public

• A high level of computer proficiency

• Experience in medical reception is advantageous

• Strong organisational skills, ability to manage workflow, multitask and prioritise workload

• Ability to thrive in a team environment and follow instruction from members of the clinical team

• Australian work rights are required for this position

The position is permanent full time. No weekend work or travel required are for the role. Experience is advantageous, however CLARITY offers comprehensive training and career development options for suitably motivated junior applicants. Salary will be negotiated on skills and experience
