Dose Administration Aid packing technician

We are seeking a reliable and motivated DAA Packing Technician to join our pharmacy team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining our Bestmed automated packing robot, ensuring medications are packed accurately, efficiently, and safely for our patients.

As a DAA Packing Technician, you will play an important role in the preparation and packing of Dose Administration Aids (DAAs) using our Bestmed packing robot. You will work closely with pharmacists and the wider pharmacy team to ensure all medications are packed correctly and meet our quality and safety standards.

• Operate the Bestmed packing robot to prepare and pack DAAs.

• Accurately load medications into the robot and monitor stock levels.

• Check packed DAAs for accuracy, presentation, and completeness.

• Identify and report packing errors, discrepancies, or equipment issues.

• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the packing equipment.

• Follow pharmacy procedures, medication safety requirements, and quality-control processes.

• Assist with DAA production, labelling, checking, and dispatch.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Work collaboratively with pharmacists, technicians, and other pharmacy staff.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe packing environment.
