About the role
You will be responsible for the everyday running of Uniform rooms and delivering front-line customer service to staff and management. The position entails upholding a comprehensive understanding of housekeeping procedures at MCEC to swiftly address complaints and service requests from all stakeholders.
Duties also include overseeing the efficient handling of laundry and distribution of staff uniforms, consistently delivering courteous assistance to personnel. Proactive communication with other departments is essential to uphold an integrated service standard. During downtime, responsibilities extend to recycling uniforms and inspecting for wear and tear, with minor mending tasks to be performed as necessary. The role demands accountability for the management and upkeep of both management and staff uniforms.
What you’re here to do
Maintain a sound understanding of the house keeping procedures to ensure the resolution of complaints and request for services are competed promptly for all MCEC stake holders.
Ensure efficient processing of laundry and provision of staff uniforms, ensuring a helpful and courteous manner when dealing with staff.
Print daily roster reports and follow up with rostering for any last-minute changes.
Keep up to date with agency time sheets and amendments sent out separately.
Ensure all dirty uniforms are ready for collection from dry cleaners by 7.30am daily.

Ensure all linen deliveries are stored and put back correctly.
Ensure full understanding of linen requirements for events coming up.
All Executive Dry Cleaning and Retail Dry cleaning are sent daily by 7.30am for collection the following day.
Operate heat seal machine.
Bagging soiled garments up to 10kg
Ensuring all new uniform deliveries are received and stored and checked in.
Full understanding of GIMS and POS systems housekeeping uses.
