As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the face of the service department and the key link between our customers and workshop team.

You'll play an important role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while helping our workshop operate efficiently and profitably.

• Welcoming customers and managing service bookings

• Understanding customer requirements and recommending appropriate servicing and maintenance

• Preparing accurate job cards, estimates and invoices

• Liaising with technicians and workshop management

• Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process

• Identifying additional maintenance and service opportunities

• Managing service check-outs and payments

• Assisting with warranty claims and customer concerns

• Building strong, long-term relationships with customers

• Ensuring every customer leaves with a positive impression of Bartons

We're looking for someone who is professional, positive and genuinely enjoys dealing with people.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous Service Advisor experience — preferred, but not essential

• Automotive or dealership experience — highly regarded

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Strong organisation and time-management skills

• The ability to confidently explain automotive servicing and repairs

• A positive, solutions-focused attitude

• The ability to work effectively in a busy team environment

• A strong desire to achieve and deliver results

If you have great customer skills and the right attitude, but don't have direct Service Advisor experience, we'd still like to hear from you.
