About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist to join our homecare team on a contract basis, located in Wollongong - NSW.

As a Speech Pathologist at Vivir Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional Speech Pathology services. Reporting to our Clinical Services Team, you will collaborate closely with leaders across our network, ensuring top-notch care for clients. Some of regular duties include:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of dysphagia assessments, Speech, language, voice, neurological conditions, and cognitive-communication disorders
• Prescribe and support the use of communication aids and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) where appropriate.
• Provide swallowing management strategies, diet texture recommendations, and mealtime support plans
• Deliver therapy in a range of settings including residential aged care facilities, clients’ homes, clinics, and community centres.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• SPA membership eligibility and current registration to practise in Australia
• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or equivalent 
• Current Drivers’ license and reliable vehicle
• Possesses Professional indemnity insurance, or willing to obtain it.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willing to obtain it
• Current Flu Vaccine, or willing to obtain it
• Has COVID vaccine certificate, or willing to obtain it.
