Head of Faculty - Commerce

Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes.

Applications are invited from innovative and engaging leaders for the position of Head of Faculty, Commerce at the St Kilda Road Campus. This is a full-time, ongoing teaching position with a 3-year position of responsibility including a 0.14 FTE time release and a 0.86 FTE teaching load. This position is commencing at the start of the 2027 school year.

With the assistance of a Faculty Coordinator, the Head of Faculty – Commerce manages the teaching staff and the curriculum implementation needs of the Arts faculty. An emphasis of the role is to effectively grow and progress outcomes in VCE Units and IBDP programs; and, more broadly, work to support Curriculum Coordinators and other Heads of Faculty, Head and Deputy Head of Campus, Head of Learning and Teaching and the Digital Learning Practice team.
