Caretaker - Library Cleaning & Maintenance

About the role

We're seeking a caretaker to help keep our space in Collingwood clean, tidy, and welcoming. The space houses a working library and hosts regular writing workshops — perfect for someone with a love of literature looking for flexible work alongside their studies.

Key responsibilities

• Cleaning and tidying the library space, including workshop areas and bookshelves

• Light maintenance to keep the space presentable for visitors and workshop participants

• Setup and pack-down for writing workshops and events

• Keeping the library collection orderly and well-maintained

• Plant and cat maintenance

About you

• Genuine interest in literature, books and the arts

• Reliable, independent, organised, pet friendly

• Will suit applicant currently studying at university (or similar) and looking for flexible, casual work
