About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Control Officer to join our growing team to help enforce and monitor our quality system requirements across the manufacturing floor. Key Responsibilities
Conduct QC checks for in-process and line clearances to maintain compliance and assist staff in maintaining line control.
Monitoring production, noting any quality or hygiene problems or deviations from specified procedure, and reporting to the Production Supervisor / Quality Manager
Batch sheet documentation control and maintenance
Calibrate scales, pH meters and other monitoring equipment to maintain compliance
Manage retention samples and standards for finished goods, packaging, and raw materials
Inspect and approve incoming packaging materials, ensuring compliance with lab standards and specifications
Identifying and reporting trends in quality data, complaints or non-conformances
Assisting with the third-party microbiological testing regime and site environmental monitoring system (microbiological, allergens)
What we are looking for:
A minimum of 1-2 years’ industry experience in a similar role.
Sound understanding of quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Strong attention to detail with a practical, logical approach to problem-solving.
Proactive, well-organised, and motivated.
