Airport Works Safety Officer

Foot Print Line Marking Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Airport Works Safety Officer to join our team in Hobart, Tasmania. This is a casual position, offering the opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the safety of airport operations and infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

• Monitoring and controlling airport works and construction activities to maintain safety standards

• Conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate safety measures

• Liaising with airport authorities, contractors and other stakeholders to coordinate work activities

• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to airport works safety

• Assisting with the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience in an airport works safety or aviation safety role

• Thorough knowledge of airport operations, regulations and safety requirements

• Strong risk assessment and safety management skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Proficient in using relevant safety monitoring and reporting software

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Relevant qualifications in aviation safety, occupational health and safety, or a related field

• Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC
