A-Grade Electrician

MundaMurra is seeking experienced A-Grade Electricians to join our dewatering projects in the Pilbara on a FIFO 2:2 roster from Perth, starting immediately.

About the Role

This is an established, continuous project with a crew that is already on the ground and running well. Flights depart the night before your swing commences, so you arrive on site ready to start and the project maintains continuous coverage.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will carry out the electrical works supporting our dewatering operations, including bore pump and industrial head works installations, submersible cable splicing, testing and commissioning, fault finding and general maintenance to keep the project moving.

You will be working alongside an experienced crew who know the project well. We are looking for a tradesperson who can pick up the scope, plan their own day, and keep the work moving.

Longer term, we are expanding our project work with Tier 1 mining clients across the Pilbara, and there will be opportunities for the right people to move onto new projects with us.

Roster and Rate

•   FIFO from Perth on a 2:2 roster, Tuesday to Wednesday
•   11.5 hour days, day shift only
•   $78 per hour flat rate
•   Paid Travel
•   Superannuation paid on all hours worked
•   Flights, accommodation and meals all provided

Essential Requirements

•   Australian recognised A-Grade Electrical Trade Certificate and current WA Electrical Licence
•   Current unrestricted WA Driver's Licence, C Class
•   Construction Induction (White Card)
•   Provide First Aid, completed within the last 3 years
•   LVR/CPR, completed within the last 12 months
•   Demonstrated mine site experience with Tier 1 operators such as Rio Tinto, BHP, FMG or Roy Hill
•   Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
•   Full Australian working rights and a Perth point of hire

Highly Regarded

•   Dewatering experience, including bore installations, pump sets and borefield systems
•   Current Roy Hill site inductions
•   Forklift ticket (HRWL LF)
•   Experience with diesel generators and basic commissioning work
