Business Development Representative – Automotive Industry

Help Australian automotive workshops work smarter with VEMAS.

We're looking for a motivated, well-connected person with experience in the automotive repair industry to introduce VEMAS Workshop Software to independent mechanical workshops.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has worked as a:

• Workshop Manager

• Mechanic

• Service Advisor

• Spare Parts Sales Representative

• Automotive Industry Representative

• Or anyone with strong relationships in the automotive workshop industry

VEMAS is a modern workshop management system that helps mechanics manage online bookings, customers, job cards , invoicing and service reminders in one easy-to-use platform.

Our mission is simple:

Help workshops reduce administration, improve organisation and spend more time doing what they do best.

This is a flexible, part-time role where you'll visit automotive workshops, introduce VEMAS and arrange demonstrations with interested business owners.

Your responsibilities include:

• Visiting independent mechanical workshops

• Building relationships with workshop owners

• Introducing VEMAS and its benefits

• Identifying potential customers

• Booking demonstrations

• Following up with interested workshops

You will not be expected to perform complex technical support, we'll provide product training and marketing material.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience in the automotive repair industry

• Excellent communication skills

• Confidence talking to business owners

• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently

• A reliable vehicle and driver's licence

Sales experience is helpful but not essential. Industry knowledge and credibility are more important.
