About the role
Imagine a role where you don't just deliver a curriculum; you build it. Where success isn't measured against a syllabus, but against real, lasting shifts in young Australians’ employment, independence and wellbeing.
Co-Hive is redefining what education can look like for young adults navigating personal circumstances that mainstream systems weren't built for. Every Co-Hive program is grounded in self-determination, strengths and experiential learning. This isn't about managing outcomes for a classroom in a given year. It's about building the curriculum and systems that make every participant's progress visible and measurable; knowing precisely where they stand, and precisely what it will take to move them from where they are to who they're capable of becoming.
Now Co-Hive needs someone to own that model end-to-end.
This is a senior leadership role with real, hands-on ownership: the design and continuous refinement of Co-Hive's curriculum and learning content across all programs, the systems that make every participant's progress visible, and leading a team of Program Facilitators and Program Assistants who bring it all to life. Reporting to the CEO and sitting on Co-Hive's Management team, you'll also help build the foundations - the systems, processes and team capability - that Co-Hive will stand on as it grows.
If you've led education at scale and want your next chapter to be about building something with lasting impact, this is that chance.
You're collaborative, calm and solutions-focused, bringing steady leadership when things get complicated. You're a natural communicator who builds genuine, trusted relationships with participants, families and staff. And you're driven by a deep belief in self-determination, equity and possibility for every participant, motivated by work that keeps evolving, and keeps making a genuine impact in the lives of young Australians.
Founded in 2024, Co-Hive is Australia's first education-driven community for young adults aged 17–35 with mild disability and neurodivergence, a cohort too often left without support once school ends. Today, 140+ young people attend weekly, building skills, confidence and genuine pathways to employment, further study, independence and belonging. We're a fast-growing ‘for-purpose’ organisation with ambitious plans to reach more Co-Hivers, and this role sits right at the centre of that growth.
