The Head of Science is to be a passionate and committed Christian educator who will uphold the mission, vision, core values and educational philosophy of the College.  

The Head of Science is responsible in the development and running of their Faculty. The Head of Science is the team leader of their faculty staff, and is directly accountable to the Executive Leadership Team for the educational administration development and operations of their faculty.

To undertake this position you will need to have the relevant skills and experience to enable you to:

• Facilitate the collaboration of teachers to develop assessment strategies that meet the needs of students, maximise student learning outcomes and satisfy NESA requirements.
• Ensure the quality of differentiated teaching programs.
• Analyse data and student feedback to evaluate and enhance teaching programs and to identify professional learning needs of staff.
• Maintain and develop resources in response to student assessment data which show the specific learning needs of students.
