The Role
The School Officer would play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school.
The successful applicant would provide dedicated support to the Curriculum Support Officer. This may include entering enrolments, scheduling exams, processing billing and statements, and assisting with timetabling, exams and reporting. You should contribute to the effective administration of curriculum processes and ensure accurate and timely support is provided across these areas.
In addition, the successful applicant should also assist the Curriculum Support Officer to provide administrative, reporting and timetabling support to the Principal, Operations Manager, Deputy Principals and teaching staff. You would assist in maintaining and monitoring a range of administrative and curriculum related databases. They should extract and generate reports and provide data to the school administration team to enhance school operations.
You will ideally assist the Curriculum Support Officer to support and coordinate a range of internal and external processes. The complex nature of the role would call for a successful applicant who is a hardworking individual with effective communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
In addition to curriculum support, the role includes financial tasks such as undertaking account and GST coding, reconciling financial records and processing invoices and statements. You will also assist with month-end procedures such as transporting receipts to the bank and maintaining data integrity. You will be responsible for collating figures for financial planning and budgeting, which would help the school make informed decisions about its resources.
You would be a key part of a collaborative team that supports a range of operational and administrative processes, including parent reporting, data imports, rollouts and uploads and enrolment processing
The successful candidate should have exceptional organisational and time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to effectively work autonomously as required.
