About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking 3 experienced Manual Lathe Machinists to join our Bibra Lake workshop. We have both casual and full-time positions available, offering flexibility for the right candidates. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys precision machining, takes pride in producing quality work and likes the variety that comes with a busy general engineering workshop.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate manual lathes to produce components to specification

• Perform general machining using mills, drills and other workshop equipment

• Read and interpret engineering drawings

• Measure, inspect and verify tolerances using precision measuring instruments

• Assist with repair, maintenance and light fabrication work as required

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment

About You

Essential

• Demonstrated experience operating manual lathes

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach

• Commitment to safe work practices

Desirable

• Forklift Licence

• Overhead crane experience
