We’re looking for an ambitious and people-focused Assistant Manager to join our high-performing Moorabbin branch in Victoria.

This is more than just a branch support role — Moorabbin is one of our largest and most strategically important locations in the state, with strong customer activity, a large team, and regular exposure to senior leadership. Often seen as the unofficial Victorian head office, this branch offers outstanding visibility and career development opportunities for someone ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.

About The Role

Supporting the Branch Manager with the day-to-day leadership and operations of the branchEnsuring customers receive friendly, responsive and professional service every timeBuilding strong relationships with customers, suppliers, colleagues and internal stakeholdersProviding guidance, leadership and on-the-job coaching to team membersHelping to create a positive, inclusive and high-performing team cultureDriving operational excellence and identifying opportunities for continuous improvementSupporting branch compliance and reinforcing a strong workplace health and safety cultureWorking closely with the wider branch team to deliver sales, service and operational outcomes

You’ll Ideally Bring

Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a sales or service-driven environmentA passion for delivering excellent customer outcomes and driving operational excellenceStrong communication and relationship-building skillsThe ambition to learn, grow and build a long-term career with RexelPrevious experience leading, mentoring or coaching team members will be highly regardedExposure to electrical wholesale, trades, industrial, building or construction industries will be highly regarded
