Head of AI & Technology

Position Purpose

Lowes is seeking a strategic and commercially focused Head of AI & Technology to lead our technology function and drive the transformation of our business into an AI-enabled retailer.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing and executing the organisation's AI, technology and digital transformation strategy. You will identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, data and emerging technologies to improve sales performance, customer experience, productivity and operational efficiency across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the organisation's AI and technology strategy.
• Drive enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.
• Identify and implement AI solutions across key business functions.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, systems, applications and cybersecurity.
• Develop data, analytics and business intelligence capabilities.
• Partner with executive leaders to deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Build a culture of innovation, AI adoption and continuous improvement.

About You

• Senior leadership experience in technology, digital transformation or innovation.
• Strong understanding of AI, automation, data analytics and emerging technologies.
• Proven success delivering large-scale technology and transformation programs.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and strategic planning skills.
• Experience leading high-performing teams and managing technology investments.

Desirable

• Retail or multi-site business experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI and intelligent automation solutions.
• Cybersecurity and enterprise data platform experience.
