Membership Consulants

About the role

As a Membership Consultant, you'll play an important part in creating a welcoming club environment while helping prospective members take the first step in their fitness journey. This is a customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys talking to people, building relationships and working towards sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Welcoming members and prospective members into the club

• Responding to membership enquiries via phone, email, social media and in person

• Conducting club tours and explaining our membership options

• Following up leads and converting enquiries into new memberships

• Working towards individual and club sales targets

• Providing excellent customer service to existing members

• Assisting with member retention and engagement

• Handling general membership and account enquiries

• Maintaining a clean, professional and welcoming club environment

• Assisting with local marketing, promotions and club events

About you

• Confident and comfortable speaking with new people

• Friendly, outgoing and approachable

• Motivated by goals and sales targets

• Reliable and punctual

• Professional in person and over the phone

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Organised and able to follow up leads consistently

• Passionate about fitness, health and helping people

• Willing to learn and develop sales and customer service skills

• Previous sales, gym, retail or customer service experience is highly regarded but not essential
