Roof Plumber

Position: Roof Plumber
Salary: $79000 to $83000 plus applicable superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week
Mode: Full time
Location: Blacktown. NSW

Business is located in Western NSW. Business is looking for a full-time skilled Roof Plumber to join the team. Business is situated at Blacktown. You will be required to work across various construction sites Business is looking for a Roof Plumber with a strong focus on efficiency and quality. Must have own tools and transport.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and repair gutters, downpipes, box gutters and roof drainage systems.

Install metal roof sheets and wall cladding

Install fascias, ridge capping, valleys and flashings

Flash around roof penetrations, such as skylights, vents and pipes

Measure, cut, fold and join sheet metal

Install and repair roof components and coverings

Collect and connect rainwater to appropriate systems

Read plans, take measurements and calculate required materials

Inspect roofs and identify leaks, damage or drainage problems

Remove and replace damaged roofing materials

Fabricate custom flashings and other sheet-metal components

Work safely at heights and use scaffolding where required

Follow workplace health & safety requirements, building requirements and relevant plumbing standards

Clean up the work area and maintain tools/equipment

Experience and other requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.

• Driver license, Trade license and white card

• Asbestos awareness

• Ability to work both unsupervised and in a team.

Salary Package: $79,000 - $83,000 per annum Plus Superannuation.

Qualifications:

• Certificate III or higher in relevant trade .

• Three years of experience can substitute for formal qualification.

• Proven experience as a Roof Plumber in construction industry.

• Strong knowledge of standards, regulations, and industry best practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
