# CHEF – CHEF WONG HUNTINGDALE **Location:** Huntingdale, Melbourne **Position:** part time , Full-Time Chef Chef Wong is looking for an experienced and reliable **Chef** to join our team at our busy Huntingdale restaurant.

We are a family-owned Cantonese restaurant specialising in **traditional handmade dim sum and casual yum cha**, with a strong focus on quality, consistency and authentic flavours. ###

About the Role You will work alongside our existing kitchen team to prepare and cook dishes to Chef Wong's standards while helping maintain an organised, clean and efficient kitchen.

**Key responsibilities include:** * Preparing and cooking dishes during service * Food preparation and mise en place * Maintaining consistent taste, portion and presentation * Working efficiently during busy service periods * Following Chef Wong recipes and kitchen procedures * Maintaining high food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards * Monitoring stock and minimising food waste * Working closely with other chefs, kitchen staff and restaurant management * Assisting with general kitchen operations as required

### What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: * Experienced working as a chef in a commercial kitchen * Reliable, punctual and responsible * Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * A strong team player * Organised and clean in their work * Consistent and takes pride in food quality * Able to follow established recipes and procedures **Experience with Cantonese, Hong Kong-style, Chinese or Asian cuisine would be highly regarded.**

Cantonese and/or Mandarin language skills would also be an advantage, but are not essential. ###
