HR Truck Driver – Crane Truck Operations
Instant Crane Trucks (a division of Instant Alloy Scaffolding) is a rapidly growing crane truck division of the well-known and established Instant Alloy Scaffolding group. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable HR Truck Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys dealing with customers and wants to be part of a business that is expanding quickly.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for operating an HR crane truck and/or a Moffett truck and performing Moffett operations to deliver and unload materials to construction sites across the region. When not driving, you will assist in the yard and support general operations as required.
While a VMC licence or crane experience is highly regarded, it is not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate.
Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate an HR crane truck in accordance with company and site requirementsLoad and unload materials (including some hand loading)Interact professionally with customers on-site and represent the business positivelyMaintain the cleanliness and presentation of your truck at all timesAssist in the scaffold yard and with general duties when not drivingWork collaboratively with the wider scaffolding and crane truck teamContribute positively to the growth and reputation of the business
Essential RequirementsCurrent HR driver’s licenceStrong work ethic and positive attitudeWillingness to learn and take directionAbility to work well within a team environmentGood communication skills and a customer-focused approachPhysically capable of manual handling tasksCommitment to safety and company standards Desirable (but Not Essential)VMC licenceForklift licenceCrane truck or Hiab experienceConstruction or industry experience
