Heavy Mobile Plant Fitter FIFO 2:1

Western Australia | FIFO 2:1 Roster | Immediate Opportunity

MundaMurra  is seeking an experienced Heavy Mobile Plant Fitter to join our growing team on a FIFO 2:1 roster in Western Australia.

This role is suited to a capable and self-motivated tradesperson who is confident working independently in remote site environments and can take ownership of plant maintenance, diagnostics and breakdown support.

About the Role

You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, diagnosing and repairing a range of heavy mobile plant and equipment across our project operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing

• Fault finding and diagnostics

• Breakdown repairs and field servicing

• Mechanical repairs and component replacement

• Inspection and reporting of plant condition

• Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records

• Identifying and communicating potential equipment issues before failure

• Working safely and effectively with limited supervision

• Supporting site operations to minimise equipment downtime

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Australian recognised Heavy Diesel / Heavy Mobile Plant trade qualification

• Demonstrated experience maintaining and repairing heavy mining and civil equipment

• Strong hands-on experience with WesTrac/CAT, Isuzu and Volvo heavy machinery

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability

• Experience working in remote FIFO environments

• Ability to work independently and confidently without constant supervision

• Strong time management and problem-solving skills

• A proactive approach to maintenance and equipment reliability

• High commitment to safety and compliance

• Current Australian Driver's Licence

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

Previous experience working across mining, civil construction, dewatering or project-based operations will be highly regarded.
