About the Role

Registered Nurse

Ideal for a Nurse wanting a work life balance, to provide community care and grow their career in a busy stimulating environment. Looking for a 2nd nurse to work alongside our full time nurse.

• Taylors Lakes location 

• Training and induction provided 

• Max Term - Maternity Leave Cover

• Full Time: Monday - Friday (Mon: 830am - 5pm and Tues - Fri: 900am - 5pm)

• Immediate Start

• No weekend or public holiday work required

The Role

• We are looking for a Nurse with long term goals in general practice and a passion for practice nursing.

• You are skilled at remaining calm in highly tense situations and have the ability to resolve matters pragmatically.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to, and with the support of, the Practice Manager, you will be a vital member of the team in contributing to the success of the Practice, with key responsibilities entailing:

• Wound Management

• Immunisations

• Procedures

• Health Assessment and CDM

• Treatment Room & Stock Management

• Triage 

• Infection Control

• Ability to competently use Zedmed Clinical Software desired

The successful candidate will be part of a detailed 2-week induction and training program that will equip you with all the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive within the role and company.

You will be required to provide full working rights and a current Working with Children Check or apply for one before commencing employment with Medical One.
