Signage - Graphic Design & All Rounder

We are looking for an experienced and detail-focused Graphic Designer to join our busy in-house design team.

About the role

You will work closely with our clients, sales, production and installation teams to take signage projects from the initial brief through to client approval and production.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating professional signage concepts, client proofs, mock-ups and presentations

• Designing building signage, vehicle graphics, window graphics, wayfinding, illuminated signs and digital print

• Interpreting client briefs, brand guidelines, site photographs, plans and measurements

• Managing artwork revisions and progressing jobs through client approval

• Preparing accurate, production-ready and pre-press artwork

• Checking dimensions, spelling, colours, layouts and specifications before production

• Liaising with production and installation teams to ensure designs are practical to manufacture and install

• Managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

What we’re looking for

Previous experience within the signage industry is highly preferred, particularly experience producing signage proofs and preparing files for print, manufacture and installation.

To be successful, you will require:

• Strong skills across the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

• Experience creating client design proofs and production-ready artwork

• A sound understanding of pre-press setup, print files, bleed, cut paths, scale and colour

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong typography, layout and visual communication skills

• The ability to interpret measurements, plans and client requirements

• Good organisation and time-management skills

• The ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments

• A relevant graphic design qualification or equivalent professional experience

Experience in signage, large-format print, vehicle graphics, manufacturing or visual communications will be highly regarded.
