Where you'll be working
Brookvale Community Health Centre
What you'll be doing
You will care for individuals requiring treatment for opioid dependence by administering medications including oral dosing, or sub-cutaneous depot injections; screening for blood borne viruses and assisting treatment regimens; assist with health promotions including immunisations; participating in research specific to Drug and Alcohol services; and working with a multidisciplinary service to support the needs of a growing cohort of people affected by impaired control over opioid use. You will be supported by the NUM, CNE, and Nurse Manager throughout the service. Continuing Professional Development and ongoing educational opportunities are highly supported throughout the service, including tertiary level education.
