About The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to join our national team on a 6-month fixed term contract. Supporting a dynamic new national client, you’ll drive procurement strategy, sourcing and supplier outcomes across multiple sites and service lines.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and client-side teams, this role will oversee end-to-end procurement activity while ensuring probity, compliance and measurable cost optimisation. This is a high-visibility role suited to someone who thrives on managing multiple procurement streams and building strong client partnerships.
This role can be based anywhere in Australia, with flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end procurement activities including RFx, evaluation, negotiation and contract executionConduct monthly pipeline meetings and develop procurement strategies aligned to client needsAnalyse spend data, market trends and benchmarking to drive cost efficienciesBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clientsFacilitate tender evaluation processes and provide commercial recommendationsEnsure compliance with governance, probity and ethical sourcing requirementsSupport ESG initiatives including supplier diversity and modern slavery considerationsDeliver reporting on procurement outcomes, spend and supplier performance
About You
3–5+ years’ procurement experience, ideally within facilities management (hard and soft services) or building servicesStrong experience managing end-to-end procurement lifecycleProven ability to manage a high volume portfolio in complex environmentsDemonstrated commercial acumen with a track record of cost optimisationConfident leading RFx processes, evaluations and supplier negotiationsExperience working with government or regulated environments is advantageousStrong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skillsExperience with eTendering platforms and procurement systems
