Public Area & Housekeeping Attendant

Alcyone Group is an expanding hospitality and management rights company operating premium apartment hotels and residential buildings across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. With the recent opening of Market Lane Residences and The Corso, we are growing our on-site team and looking for a reliable, detail-focused team member to join us on a part-time basis.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on role working across our Maroochydore properties, responsible for maintaining presentation across both public areas and short stay apartments.

This is a part-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 22 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours based on occupancy and operational requirements.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our buildings and apartments are consistently presented to a high standard for residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Public Areas

• Clean and maintain lobbies, lifts, corridors, amenities, and pool areas

• Spot clean glass, stainless steel, and high-touch surfaces

• Replenish consumables and maintain storerooms

• Report maintenance or safety issues

Apartment Housekeeping (Short Stay)

• Clean and prepare apartments for guest arrivals

• Make beds, replace linen, and restock amenities

• Ensure apartments meet hotel-quality presentation standards

• Report any damage, maintenance, or presentation issues

• Work efficiently to meet daily cleaning schedules

About You:

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or hotel environments preferred

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Comfortable working across both public areas and apartments

• Available for a mix of weekday and weekend shifts
